§ 6.11.48.05. Agricultural Home-Based Business Standards
A.
The property shall be located within a rural or agricultural land use plan category.
B.
Minimum lot size for properties containing an agricultural home-based business shall be one acre. An agricultural home-based business shall occupy no more than 30 percent of the total floor area of the dwelling unit or one accessory structure on the same lot or parcel.
C.
On-site employees of the agricultural home-based business shall be limited to residents of the property and up to two (2) non-resident employees.
D.
External impacts, such as noise, odor or vibrations, shall not exceed those normally associated with the principal uses permitted in the zoning district within which the property is located.
E.
An agricultural home-based business shall include, but not be limited to, such activities as welding repair services, repair of farm equipment, lawn maintenance services, tool sharpening, lawn maintenance equipment repair, cabinet and furniture making and other traditional crafts such as, but not limited to, pottery, basketry, quilting and wood carving.
